OVERVIEW

Ever wanted to go overlanding, and have a no compromise approach to the adventure?

Beginning with a top of the line 2024 Tundra TRD Pro i-Force MAX, this truck was purchased brand new, and immediately underwent a host of modifications to prepare the truck for off road adventures. The goal was an off road ready platform that could haul a couple dirt bikes in the bed and provide a home base for riding off grid.

The modern Toyota Tundra platform is a great way to approach an overland build, as you start with a proper package and associated GVWR ratings to add all the items that are needed for proper adventure. With nearly 600 lb. ft. of torque, the twin turbo V6 hybrid drivetrain provides enough power to easily handle the additional weight and larger tires. This truck truly has it all, from the wonderful factory Toyota interior that is functional and stylish, to the laundry list of upgrades under, and on top of, the vehicle.

The invoices below show the initial work, incremental work and upgrades over the 6,800 miles now showing on the truck. This was a no expense spared build with the best components, and it all shows in nearly new condition. It is quite impressive in person.

The tuck has spent time in the back country in Arizona and Utah over the last 12 months and has proven to be a highly proficient truck. After a couple thousand miles on the original suspension set-up (Icon/King) from the original build the final invoice above was for updates that the original owner desired after use in the field leaning more toward Dobinsons parts. The ride is buttery smooth and capable.

Is this the ultimate Overlanding Toyota? We sure think so at the moment…
