Aston Martin launched the DBS Superleggera in 2018. The brash and fresh design delivered a superb tribute to the once patented Touring Coachworks process of building lightweight alloy over steel bodies derived from aircraft engineering. The lightweight sport coupe package featured a sinewy body with a tight glass canopy, fluid lines blending into the dramatically raked C pillars, and beautifully formed rear glass highlighting powerful haunches. Designed with Aston Martin’s exclusive Aeroblade System, the Superleggera also integrates an F1 inspired double diffuser that aids in generating nearly 400lbs of downforce for improved handling. Carbon fiber materials used throughout the design also helped to significantly lower weight. Under the hood, the 715 hp 5.2-liter twin-turbocharged V12 delivered astonishing performance via rear wheel drive, carbon fiber propshaft, and rear mounted ZF 8-speed automatic transaxle. The lightweight aluminum chassis and support structure, clamshell hood, Aston Martin grille and LED headlights created a memorable and fresh profile with distinct Aston Martin heritage.
Purchased new at Desert European, in Rancho Mirage, CA, this car was optioned with over $30k in special features including Carbon Tinted Body Pack, Carbon Mirror Caps, Triaxial Quilting, Satin Silver Jewelry Pack, Headrest Embroidery, Power Seat Bolsters, and numerous other features as shown on the factory window sticker included with the car. The first owner maintained and serviced this car at the selling dealership until it was sold to the second owner in November 2021. The car was delivered to Bixby, OK with 2,400 miles until sold to the current owner in April 2023, then indicating 3,800 miles.
