Newly arrived inventory - More details coming soon, but a quick overview here, and please contact to discuss this wonderful MV. The bike has been part of a prominent collection and display since import to the USA in 2019.
The 125 4 marce, a true "client competition" motorbike, was introduced in 1949 at the same time as the new 125 version. It features a 125cc two-stroke engine, an egg-shaped crankcase and a 4-speed gearbox, and is very fast (10 hp for 65 kg) proving itself to be the perfect machine for privateers.
This 125 4 marce belonged to Paolo Campanelli, a well-known Italian rider. Its oval-tubed single cradle frame (originally a double-cradle frame) and telescopic fork make it stand out from a standard machine. The clutch has also been modified. It was MV's last two-stroke 125cc racing MV which starting from 1950, gave way to 4-stroke ones.
