OVERVIEW

Conceived as a premier performance variation of the already impressive 488, the 3.9-liter twin turbocharged F8 Tributo was unveiled in 2019 at the Geneva Motor Show. As a celebration in tribute “Tributo” to 45 years of the Ferrari mid-engine V8 layout, this innovative engineering layout remains a fixture of Ferrari performance excellence. Though once dominated by front-engine V12 designs, Ferrari invested wisely in the mid-engine layout which would ideally position them for worldwide expansion into new performance markets. The F8 Tributo took advantage of the already impressive features in the gorgeous Pininfarina designed body integrating a host of advanced aerodynamic features that increased downforce (15% more than the previous 488), reduced drag, and offered better cooling.

For the sinewy body surfaces, the bi-plane side intake vents were designed to direct air from the upper chamber to the turbochargers feeding the impressive 710 hp engine which can be viewed through a Lexan cover reminiscent of the impressive F40, also a now legendary twin-turbocharged mid-engine design. Combining the latest in aerodynamics and premier materials technology, mechanical advances in the mid-mounted engine utilized turbo rev sensors (original developed for the 488 Challenge series) coupled with the dual-clutch 7-speed F1 gearbox. This combined package resulted in road tests achieving 211 mph top speeds and 0-62 mph times arriving in a blistering 2.9 seconds with quarter mile times of 10.3 seconds at 133 mph.

Offered with capabilities consistently found in premier Ferrari competition prepped cars, despite the incredible performance, the F8 was specifically developed to be a usable performance car enhanced by software features controlled by the Manettino dial on the steering wheel, including Ferrari’s Side Slip Angle Control traction and stability-control program, and electronic program controls for managing drifts. Produced for just four years with a mere 2,265 units produced in 2021, the F8 Tributo remains one of Ferraris most desirable performance cars ever developed for street use.

This F8 is a two-owner example finished in Nero Daytona (black) with matching black leather interior. Among the many standard features offered on this amazing car, performance features include massive carbon ceramic brakes, Magnetorheological suspension, Side Slip Control with E-Diff 3, S-duct advanced aerodynamics, and full LED front and rear lighting. The overall package for this particular car is further enhanced with over $50,000.00 worth of extra cost convenience and design options, resulting in a truly spectacular example.

In addition to the numerous impressive standard features of the F8 Tributo, the following options are inscribed with option codes on the certified factory “Personalization Specifications” plaque permanently affixed to the car and further documented on the original window sticker:

With a mere 5,900 miles indicated, this spectacular Ferrari appears essentially as new in every respect. The paintwork is vivid and glossy throughout with deep reflections highlighted by yellow Scuderia fender shields and mirror black finish blending seamlessly into the beautiful glass surfaces while contrasting the silver dual hood stripes. The LED lighting and tinted glass are clear and crisp with excellent detailing and superb luster including the distinctive “view through” Lexan rear window featuring the impressive 710 hp twin-turbocharged engine. The beautiful, forged alloy diamond wheels are in excellent condition showing no curb marks or edge damage fronting aluminum finish brake calipers and carbon ceramic disc brakes. The various emblems, logos, and design details are in exceptional condition, appearing essentially as new.

The black leather interior is elegant and sporty enhanced by carefully selected carbon fiber accents and carbon fiber seat back shells. The black leather Daytona seats are accented by subtle grey stitching, Alcantara Charcoal seat inserts, and grey embroidered Cavallino prancing horses on the headrests. As the 5,900 miles will attest, there are no visible signs of wear on any seating surfaces, door panels, or headliner. The technologically sophisticated dashboard is optioned with an aluminum finish tachometer, trimmed with optional grey stitching, and fronted by the Manettino steering wheel, derived from F1 controls, also trimmed with grey stitching. Handsomely trimmed in carbon fiber and perfectly suited to the silky black exterior, the interior is very much in harmony with the sporting features of the unified body design particularly so in Nero Daytona.

Viewable through the clear view engine lid, the engine compartment and 3.9-liter twin-turbocharged engine have been exceptionally well-maintained and properly detailed, with no visible alterations since new. All factory engine markings and labels are in place and in excellent condition including the alloy castings and handmade Ferrari engine features that define decades of superlative mechanical artistry. The underside of the car is further supportive of the low miles displaying clean and properly maintained features including the factory mounted aerodynamic shrouds and F1-derived suspension components. Even the Michelin tires appear essentially as new.

Since its celebrated debut, the F8 Tributo has not only captured the hearts of performance enthusiasts, the very best of these cars have already become highly sought after just one year after the last one was delivered in 2023. The opportunity to acquire a beautifully preserved Tributo with low miles, exceptional cosmetics, and a substantial array of desirable factory options rarely comes along. Offered with state-of-the-art technical features, elegant and dynamic design, and jaw-dropping performance, this beautifully maintained Ferrari F8 Tributo is ready to impress performance enthusiasts who enjoy the superlative driving experiences that only a Ferrari can offer.
