OVERVIEW
For the past seven decades, the Porsche 911 has delivered amazing levels of performance to enthusiasts all over the world. With each successful iteration, innovative ideas emerge, performance increases, while gracefully evolving the distinctive heritage architecture and legacy body design. Perfectly balanced with a range of models to suit tastes and driving conditions, the GT3 was derived to meet the growing needs for performance models derived from the prolific 911 motorsports history. Offered first in 1999 as part of the 996 model range, the GT3 option package was focused on racing with impressive performance figures and purposefully spartan interior trim.
For the 2014 model the 475 hp dual overhead cam 24 valve flat six engine delivered performance figures that were astonishing for the time and remain so today, including a surge of power from 7,000-9,000rpm that feels like a second hammer coming down on an already amazing leap of speed. The PDK operates so smoothly with this engine package that seamless shifting is a wonderous work of art in either manual or automatic mode. The PDK makes even the most diehard fan of the former manual lever gearbox forever relinquish any need to free their hands from the capable steering wheel and shift paddles that can be modulated in Sport model for even more track-like adaptive shifting.
The resultant 0-60 mph times of 3.3 seconds, 11.5 second quarter mile, and 195 mph top speed numbers confirm what everyone expected from this level of engineering; the GT3 simply blew through all expectations. And while the performance was certainly impressive, the steering, suspension, and overall ride were even more surprising as the GT3 could be just as much at home in general driving duty or offer comfort at highway speeds for prolonged periods of time.
This beautifully optioned GT3 was specially ordered by the first and only owner and delivered new to Carrera Motors, Bend, OR. Shortly before delivery, with just 4 miles showing, this Porsche was eligible for engine replacement under the Porsche Quality Initiative Recall No. AE01 specifically issuing an engine exchange due to a suspect alloy formulation used in a batch of connecting rod bolts. To ensure owner safety, engine MA175-E02528 was replaced July 7, 2014, with engine MA175-E11427, installed by Porsche and documented at Porsche AG. Reference documents are included with the car confirming the engine replacement and offering a Porsche extended warranty covering 10 years or 120,000 miles, whichever comes first.

Over the past eight years this GT3 has been thoughtfully maintained during single ownership, amassing 18,000 miles. The car has always been stored indoors, regularly serviced, and professionally detailed to carefully preserve the excellent quality and finish of this highly optioned GT3.
Today this Porsche presents in excellent visual condition with smooth original factory applied paint. Clear paint protection film was removed during prep this month, leaving the original paint in excellent condition. All factory features are exceptionally well detailed showing no significant marks or flaws to the gleaming deep black paint. The factory body panels are in excellent condition showing tight fit for the doors, hood, and engine lid and crisp factory fit along the front and rear bumpers. The boldly elevated rear wing is perfectly perched atop the rear of the car creating a commanding presence. Beautifully matching gloss black wheels are in great condition with bright six and four pot red brake calipers showing through the alloy spokes. The cleanly designed rear wing stretches out over the massive flared rear fenders allowing for maximum high speed air flow and downforce stability. The lurid visual presence of this car is wicked, powerful, and stealthy with an undeniable legacy to the 911 name.
The original black interior is essentially new throughout, featuring excellent leather and Alcantara finishes, beautifully preserved door panels, and near new carpeting. The leather seating surfaces and Alcantara inserts are supple and beautifully maintained, accented with perimeter red stitching on the dash, doors, and seats, red seatbelts, and red GT3 headrest embroidery. The dashboard features painted inserts, beautiful factory gauges, entertainment system, and the desirable Sport Chrono option peeking out from the center of the dashboard. The Alcantara wrapped steering wheel with red stitching matches the red accents and seatbelts, all of which remain in like-new condition. Every aspect of the interior is fresh, crisp, and beautifully maintained, exhibiting all the traits of a documented low mile car that has been professionally serviced under singular ownership.
The engine compartment and trunk retain a stock exterior appearance, though much of the engine itself is concealed in the beautifully draped body metal. The engine compartment is clean and properly detailed, displaying the original cosmetic features including a protective carbon fiber tray, GT3 engine shroud housing twin cooling fans, and fluid service ports. Underneath the car is a technological display of carefully engineered aerodynamic features including various openings and air management systems aiding in brake cooling and cornering control. Every aspect of the car from the inner panel surfaces, under hood finishes, and chassis supports the originality and preservation this car has enjoyed since delivered new.
This beautifully preserved GT3 is offered with factory keys, factory owner’s manual, original window sticker, tools, and factory jack, as well as records for interval services and engine documentation paperwork.
