300 SL Roadster - Junior Car
Yep, that’s a half size 300 SL Roadster. Didn’t know you needed one in your life until just now, eh?
Based on a steel frame with an accurately scaled fiberglass body, the car is more “real” car than kid car as many believe when the first walk up to it. Capable of 30+mph, it features a sequential three speed transmission (plus reverse) and a 110cc four stroke gas powered engine. Hydraulic brakes and coil over suspension round out the mechanical side.
Finished in iconic silver over red leather, the car presents very well in person. The level of detail is quite solid, and the scale of things are all in correct proportions - it is technically a 3/5 scale model (60%) if you want to get your tape measure out. Interior features include a center mount steering wheel, static gauges, and simple switchgear to leave the interior uncluttered and classic looking.
