New Arrival - 1966 Jaguar E-Type Roadster

The praise is nearly universal regarding the Jaguar E-Type over the decades; commonly heralded as one of the most beautiful car designs in the world, it is impossible to dismiss its relevance 50 years on. If you are in doubt, go ask a non-car person for their opinion of the car, as this car turns heads from all generations, genders, and stations in life. Still unsure? This E-Type Roadster has repeatedly stopped people in their tracks when they see it in our showroom since arrival here. Achingly gorgeous with the original color combination and quality of the restoration apparent immediately upon inspection.

The example here is largely held to be the perfect iteration of the car. It combines the early design’s covered headlights, more delicate chrome bumpers, with the later car’s larger 4.2L engine, better brakes, cooling and electrical systems. With its sensual shape and engine directly descending from the C and D types that dominated international racing in the 1950s, the E-type is a timeless touring car with motorsport lineage.

Restored by a marque expert to concours level condition throughout, this E-Type achieved multiple 100.00 point concours judged showings, Multiple Best of Show awards, and was awarded the highest honor by JCNA as the National Champion as well.
