Regardless of value levels, I think all car enthusiasts appreciate when you come across an old preserved car with loving ownership that spans decades. And with period correct upgrades? This 928 delivers.

This lovely example of the Porsche 928 oozes originality and a wonderful document binder to dig through. We recently acquired this car from an estate where the most recent caretaker drove it less than 1000 miles in the past 27 years. He cherished having it in his garage and gave it regular starts and exercise in the neighborhood, but mainly just rubbed it with a diaper*.

Under current ownership the 928 has received a new fuel pump, filter, injectors, and a fluid service. Proper N-rated Michelin Exalto tires developed by Michelin Classic for cars of this era were installed, as was a new battery and struts for the hood and rear hatch. The 928 runs incredibly well, and important features such as the air conditioning and climate control operate as they should, blowing both hot and cold air.
