Bali Blue over Black, or Light Ivory over Red?

New Inventory: 1960 Porsche 356 Hardtop Cabriolet 1600 Super

I made the comment to a friend and visitor at the shop last week about this car as we stood staring at it - "it would be a fairly easy restoration back to Light Ivory over Red."  His response was equally valid and full of enthusiasm -  "Why? I'd drive it just like it is for many more years."

Both are good paths and I have been conflicted on which one is the better path as I was finalizing the photos and write-up on this 356. After lunch today with some other car friends about different cars, I am vividly reminded - One is not better than the other, just different. That is what makes this hobby so much fun - we all have different goals and dreams. I look forward to seeing which path the new owner will take with this rare, numbers matching hardtop Super Cab.
