OVERVIEW

Newly arrived inventory - proper photos coming soon, awaiting clear weather.

Fiery Italian industrialist Ferruccio Lamborghini made his fortunes building tractors and farm equipment. As a Ferrari owner, he became frustrated at the lack of service attention from Ferrari. Exasperated one day, he drove his Ferrari to the factory where he and Enzo argued as only Italians can, arms flailing, voices approaching operatic levels. Finally, Enzo declared “What do you know about sports cars. This is not a tractor”. Furious, Ferruccio abandoned the Ferrari declaring for posterity “I’ll show you what a real sports car should be”, and Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. was born.

Since inception in 1963, Lamborghini has built some of the most impressive high-performance sports cars. Innovators in mid-engine designs, Lamborghini first stunned the world unveiling the Miura in 1966 and again with the shocking Countach in 1974. In the ensuing decades, Lamborghini has proven to be a leader in supercar development, never resting on their robust past achievements, always moving into the next decade offering the very best in high-performance sports cars.

Following on the use of the durable V10 platform featured in the Gallardo, The Huracan arrived in 2014, with the Spyder following in September 2015 as a 2016 model. Officially designated as LP 610-4 named for the 610 hp output and electronically controlled 4-wheel drive configuration, the longitudinal mid-engine package allowed for optimal weight distribution and superb chassis balance. Capable of achieving a ¼ mile time of 10.4 seconds and an eye-watering top speed of 212 mph top speed via the 7-speed transmission, the Huracan Spyder delivered on all the promises of a top tier sports car including features like carbon-ceramic disc brakes, full-LED headlamps and taillights, and a power retractable top. Handling was another important feature assisted by magnetically controlled suspension which automatically adjusted to immediate changes in road conditions and ride dynamics.

This Huracan Spyder is a one-owner, low-mile example delivered new to the first and only owner through Midwestern Auto Group, Dublin, OH. Shortly after delivery, the owner moved the car to Western Washington where it has continued to be regularly serviced by Lamborghini specialists per recommended annual requirements, including a recent $3,500 service at Lamborghini Bellevue, Bellevue, WA. In 2020, a truck with a trailer hitch backed into the hood of the car resulting in deep paint scratches to the hood. This was professionally repaired with the correct color and a new layer of paint protection film was installed to the hood. PPF has been applied to the front of the car from the cowl forward. This beautiful Huracan Spyder has amassed just 7,400 miles since new. Delivered from the factory finished in Blu Le Mans and trimmed with Nero Ade leather interior, the window sticker indicates more than $35k of additional factory options:

This spectacular Huracan Spyder presents today essentially as new in every respect. The beautiful blue paintwork is vivid and glossy throughout with excellent coverage and professional paint protection applied over the front portion of the car. The cosmetic condition is exceptional throughout. The lighting and glass are clear and crisp with excellent detailing. The beautiful, polished alloy wheels are in excellent condition showing no curb marks or edge damage. The wheels wear factory correct Pirelli P Zero low profile performance tires. The emblems, logos, and design details are in superb condition. The angular and crystalline body design surfaces echo many of the great Lamborghini designs of the past but here with the Spyder, offer a rare convertible configuration at the touch of a switch, allowing full open touring as the power top conceals itself beneath the low-profile rear deck. The mid-mounted V10 engine sits beneath the smooth rear deck while integrated color contrasting venting channels aid in engine cooling.

The interior is uniquely finished in a stunning warm natural leather hue with trapezoidal tufting stitched into the leather seat inserts. The interior design echoes the chiseled themes of the exterior. The leather seats, center console, and dashboard all feature the elegant finishes that convey performance with a high level of excellence. Consistent with the 7,400 miles indicated, there are no visible signs of wear on any of the interior surfaces which often will show rub marks or seat bolster wear even on low mile cars. The technologically sophisticated dashboard features digital information, flanked by a central console screen, an array of switches, and an optional navigation system. The angular yet comfortable interior design is surprisingly easy to use, ergonomically well laid out, and offers much in the way of comfort amenities, all while enjoying high speed motoring in an open-air sports car of superlative construction.

The engine compartment houses the 610 hp V10 engine, tucked into the mid portion of the rear of the car. This layout allows for optimum balance and weight distribution, further enhanced by all-wheel drive. This Spyder has been regularly serviced and detailed by Lamborghini professionals as all factory engine markings and labels are in place and in excellent condition including the specific Lamborghini engine and drivetrain features all of which contribute to the astonishing performance that elevates these cars into competitive levels that rival million-dollar hypercars. The underside of the car is consistent in presentation, reflective of the miles indicated including the correct aerodynamic air management panels, contoured rear-end air diffusers, and factory suspension.

Behind the wheel of this Huracan Spyder the steering wheel, paddle shifters, and assorted switches are easily accessible and perfectly positioned for performance driving. The V10 engine conveys a wonderfully tuned exhaust note, all the more enjoyable with the top down and the engine on song. Driving position is comfortable and ergonomically agreeable even when driving in moderate traffic. When coaxed on open roads, the Huracan Spyder delivers fantastic engine sounds as exhilarating acceleration. The open cockpit is comfortable and roomy with surprisingly minor wind buffeting even at higher speeds, a tribute to the aerodynamic engineering afforded to the convertible configuration. The carbon ceramic disc brakes and suspension are highly capable and well balanced, being compliant in urban traffic conditions and quite nimble especially due to the all-wheel drive system and electronically controlled suspension. The car comes with the window sticker, assorted service records, an owner’s manual packet, along with the car cover, and all original accessories.

Since its debut in 2016, the Lamborghini Huracan Spyder has validated Ferruccio Lamborghini’s challenge that a humble tractor maker could build a superlative sports car, one worthy of his legacy. For anyone seeking a beautiful and uniquely optioned, low mile Huracan Spyder, this one-owner example is ready to deliver memorable open road driving, superb performance, and exceptional design.
